I know so many of you but I'm not sure if you know each other! Let's get to know each other by commenting with the following:
Preferred name + Pronouns
Region of the world you come from
Your favorite thing you made in 2024
What you hope to accomplish in 2025
(No pressure, always only share what you are comfortable sharing.)
I'll go first!
I'm Sumalee, she/her (and yes, it's my real name and comes from my Thai side!)
I am from Central Florida (where I live with my husband and two cats. Picture below is from our October visit to Chateau d'Hautefort, which is where Ever After was filmed! Sadly the cats stayed home.)
My favorite thing I made in 2024: Probably my Targaryen banner, not because it came out perfectly but because it was SUPER last minute using only materials I had at home and I honestly kind of slayed under the circumstances.
I hope to accomplish A LOT in 2025 (obviously), but as far as sewing goes, I want to finish a Victorian corset that will transition between multiple decades (because you know I'll never finish ANYTHING if I have to make new underwear for every single ensemble), I plan to finish my Secret Costume, I want to make some personal/every day clothes that are sort of mod 60s crossed with medieval revival (because my wardrobe BLOWS right now and I need a complete revamp), AND if I don't finish my full Alicent Queen in Chains ensemble by the end of the year, I genuinely fear the consequences.
Oh yeah, I also want to successfully launch my podcast, host a bunch of really fun live events, and convince some of you to book costume coaching. But like only if I have time 😇
How about y'all?

Howdy!
1) I go by Koholint online, a relic from when I had more time for video games than I do now :P (she/her, please)
2) I currently live in Texas but am originally from Central America.
3) I am recovering from burnout and some rough life situations, so 2024 wasn’t very productive for me. However, I did enjoy making a little silk bonnet for Halloween purposes!
4) In 2025… I think my only goal right now is to make more things than before as I recover from Life :) I’m trying to rediscover the joy of the process and learn to manage a slower pace.
Nice to meet you!
